Olive oil and lemon dressing is a delicious and easy greek dressing that can be used on salads, grilled meats, and grilled fish.

Hummus
Even though hummus is not authentically greek, it can be found in some eateries in Greece and in many greek restaurants outside of Greece. Therefore, I decided to include it on this site. Hummus is made with chickpeas, tahini, lemon, garlic, and olive oil. You can easily buy it at the store, but nothing compares to homemade.

Tzatziki is a yogurt and cucumber dip that accompanies many greek dishes. The great thing about tzatziki is that it's super easy to prepare. Just make sure you leave it in the fridge for a couple of hours to let the flavours come together.

Fava
Fava is a wonderful creamy dip or spread made with yellow split peas (not fava beans) and onions. Santorini is famous for its amazing fava! Serve it with chopped red onion, parsley, olive oil, and lots of bread.

Skordalia Garlic Dip
Skordalia (called Aliada in the Ionian islands) is a thick garlic dip or spread, preferably made with a mortar and pestle. Skordalia can be made with a variety of ingredients, such as potatoes, walnuts, almonds, or soaked stale bread - often eaten alongside fish and/or beets.
