Cretan Salad
A Cretan salad is not limited to just a traditional greek salad with barley rusks. Some of the most delicious and innovative salads can be found in Crete — every restaurant we visited had their own special twist.
Ingredients
Method
- To make this Cretan salad: Combine the mixed greens, cucumber, carrot, cabbage, tomato, figs, parsley, dill, and walnuts in a large bowl.
- Combine the dressing ingredients. Taste, and adjust the honey and salt to your personal preference. Drizzle over the salad, and gently toss.
- Arrange the salad onto a large serving platter, and dot with the crumbled cheese. Serve immediately.
- Enjoy!
