Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Feta: Place the block of feta in an ovenproof dish or a small baking pan.
Arrange Grape Tomatoes: Arrange the grape tomatoes around the feta in the baking dish.
Drizzle with Olive Oil: Drizzle the olive oil over the feta and tomatoes. Turn the tomatoes in the olive oil so they are coated.
Add Garlic and Seasoning: Sprinkle minced garlic, dried oregano, dried thyme, and red pepper flakes if using, over the feta and tomatoes. If using hot peppers, place on top of the feta.
Bake in the Oven: Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until the tomatoes are softened, and the feta is warm and slightly melted.
Broil for a Golden Top (Optional): If desired, you can broil the dish for an additional 2-3 minutes to achieve a golden top on the feta.
Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh chopped basil, and serve immediately. Squeeze fresh lemon juice on top for some freshness (optional).
Scoop the warm and creamy feta and tomatoes with crusty bread or pita. Or stir everything together and serve over pasta.
Enjoy!
